Please note that a downloadable version of our terms & conditions is also available as a PDF.
- General:
- If your signature appears on the booking form (or in the case of telephone booking is in whose name the booking is made) you will be held responsible for that booking and warrant that you are over 18 years of age.
- A deposit of £150.00 per bungalow must be received within seven days to confirm initial telephone reservation. Full payment must be received six weeks before the start of your holiday. Failure to do so may result in the cancellation of the holiday and loss of any payment received.
- If the first day of your proposed holiday is less than six weeks from the date of booking, then the full cost must be paid at the time of booking.
- Payment must be by cheque (in GBP or Euro's). Late bookings where cheques cannot be cleared in time require cash on arrival.
- We do not accept bookings from persons under the age of 18 years, or single sex parties of three or more persons, or young mixed groups.
- The contract advises you to refer to the current Gurnard Pines brochure or Gurnard Pines web site for additional information of the holiday village before booking.
- The issue of the relevant acknowledgement for your holiday confirms the booking. If you do not receive confirmation of your reservation within seven days please telephone.
- Cancellations:
- We strongly recommend that you take out cancellation insurance (available from any High Street insurance broker) for peace of mind.
- In the event of cancellation the following may happen. If a deposit has been made and you are cancelling outside of 21 days before the start of your occupancy you may be liable for the balance and lose all monies already paid. If you are cancelling within 21 days you may lose all monies already paid. We will endeavour to re-let the accommodation, and if successful will refund your deposit less £50 administrative charge.
- Occupancy:
- Only persons listed on the booking form (or stated during telephone booking) will be allowed to occupy the accommodation.
- The maximum number of persons includes children and adults.
- In the unlikely event of any damage, breakages, or the property being left in an unsatisfactory condition, Lynbrook holidays reserve the right to impose a reasonable charge to return the property to the condition it was in at the beginning of the let. This charge will be taken from the original deposit of £150. If damage or loss caused by yourself or any member of the party exceeds this sum then you are liable to reimburse Lynbrook holidays for the entire amount.
- Subject to the accommodation being left in a satisfactory condition the deposit will be returned within seven days.
- We reserve the right to enter the premises for urgent repairs or maintenance.
- Arrival & Departure:
- Bookings are from 4 p.m. on the day of arrival to 10 a.m. on the day of your departure. A late departure will incur extra charges.
- Liability:
- We reserve the right to refuse any booking or to cancel any booking if the accommodation becomes, for reasons beyond our control, unavailable subject to our refunding any sums you have paid. We will not be liable for any further obligations or claims by the client.
- We accept no liability for either loss or damage to personal effects or vehicles, or for personal accident or injury to any person named on the booking form (or stated during the telephone booking). We advise you to take out your own insurance to cover these.
- We shall not be liable for any loss or inconvenience caused in the event that advertised facilities or amenities are not available due to circumstance beyond our control. For various reasons such as weather conditions, repairs and maintenance etc, some facilities or services may become unavailable. If we believe that these circumstances are likely to affect your holiday we will inform you immediately. However, we cannot accept responsibility for changes to, or closures of local amenities/facilities which clearly are not under our control.
- We will not accept liability for any matter that you do not bring to our attention during your stay. Any problem or complaint must be brought to our attention immediately in order to give us the opportunity to rectify it.
- Unlawful or unacceptable behaviour, which threatens, disturb, or prevents the enjoyment to which other holiday guests are entitled to, will be considered as a termination of the contract. In these circumstances, the owners unfortunately have no choice but to insist on an immediate vacating of the accommodation and the holiday village without a refund.
